Abstract

Background. The subject’s topicality is determined by a necessity of understan-ding various aspects of the teachers-psychologists’ activity, aimed at preserving the mental, somatic and social well-being of students in the process of fostering and ed-ucation at educational institutions. The work’s subject is also topical due to a neces-sity to renew the content of professional training and equipping students with knowledge about moral-volitional development of a personality, means of self-regu¬lation and self-control of one’s begaviour. The aim of the work is to reveal the ways and means of forming abilities to moral-volitional self-control in future teacher-psychologists in the educational process.
Materials and methods. The research tasks were implemented through analyzing the scientific literature, using the methods of observation, conversation, experi-mental material, obtained using the following diagnostic methods: “A. V. Zverkov’s and E. V. Eidman’s research of volistic self-regulation”; V. V. Boyko’s diagnostics of empathic abilities; “Amicability testing. D. Campbell’s diagnostics”; “M. Snei-der’s evaluation of self-control in converation”; reflectivity development level diag-nostics (A. V. Karpov’s quastionnaire).
Results. Abilities to moral-volistic self-control of one’s behavior are character-ised in the article as a complex personal education. The work considers possibilities of pedagogical reflection as an important means of obtainment and accumulation of professional experience and stimulation of personality’s moral and volistic activity manifestations. The authors have experimentally proved the efficiency of the system of formation of abilities to moral-volistic self-control of one’s behavior in students.
Conclusions. The experimental results have proved that the topical problem of formation of abilities to self-control of one’s control in students, future teachers-psychologists, may be successfully solved in the process of their vocational training withing the discipline “Pedagogy of personality’s self-development”, aimed at for-mation of students’ readiness to professional and personal growth.
